The Shepherd and the Wilderness: Lent Studies 2027
Ko Ihowa tōku hēpara. The Lord is my shepherd. This Lent, walk Psalm 23 alongside the story of the Exodus. Across six weeks, each line of the psalm meets a movement of Israel's journey from slavery, through the wilderness, and into the presence of God.

The Bicultural Shareable Trusts offer grants for a variety of purposes – see ‘Bicultural Shareable Trusts Summary List’ for more information. Funding applications open annually in late May with a deadline of 30 June, with notifications sent out via News for our Movement and Whakahaere.

To employ locum tenens priest in parishes during illness or convalescence of vicar or curate, including pregnancy.
RL Button Trust
Financial assistance towards training of clergy and laity for pastoral work in the Wellington Diocese/ Te Upoko o Te Ika; grants towards staffing of parishes where finances are inadequate
Daniel Sanders Trust
To be used for the augmentation of stipends in poorer outlying districts of the Wellington Diocese/Te Upoko o Te Ika.
Fancourt Memorial Trust
Assistance for Clergy dependents where no assistance is available elsewhere; Clergy training expenses
Caroline Uren Bequest
Relief for the aged and sick, fares for hospital visits shopping, etc.
St Bede’s Prize Fund
Scholarship for student(s) from Wellington Diocese or Te Upoko o Te Ika studying in NZ Theological College belonging to the Anglican Church, preferable New Testament Studies.
Gwyn & Kelvin Day Trust
This fund is to provide scholarships to assist the children of Anglican Clergy to attend an Anglican independent (or integrated) secondary school within the Wellington Diocese.
