Tawa Community Céilídh Fundraiser

  • Tawa RSA 89 Oxford Street Tawa, Wellington Region, 5028 New Zealand (map)

Grab your friends, bring your partner, or come along solo for a fantastic night of music, laughter, dancing, and community spirit.

Join us for a traditional ceilidh (pronounced "kay-lee") - a fun, social evening of group dancing where everyone is welcome and no experience is needed. A caller will guide you through every dance, so you'll be joining in within minutes.

More than just a great night out, every ticket helps support the redevelopment of Tawa Anglican Church's new community facility. The new building will provide welcoming spaces for community groups, workshops, meetings, support services, and emergency response needs for the people of Tawa and beyond.

Expect:

  • Live music and energetic ceilidh dancing

  • A relaxed and welcoming atmosphere

  • Plenty of laughs and new connections

  • A light supper included with your ticket

  • BYO drinks (including alcoholic & non-alcoholic or your choice)

  • A chance to support a project that will benefit the wider community for years to come

Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a fun evening with friends, or simply an opportunity to connect with others, this is a night you won't want to miss.
