Prayers: 5 April 2026
Whāia, whāia te ara Matua,
Whāia te ara Atua...
Ko te mauri o te rangi ka hono
Ko te mauri o te papa ka tau.
Kua ara a Ia!
He pono: kua ara a Ia!
Seek and you shall find the way of the Lord;
Seek and you shall find the way of God.
Let the heavens bear witness.
Let the Earth declare Your peace
For He is risen!
He is risen indeed!
Prayers: 22 March 2026
E Ihowa o ngā Mano
Titiro atawhai mai ki a mātou
Me ō mātou tini roimata
Ki a rātou kua wehe atu
Whakatikaia, whakatika.
God, look kindly on we
who wait,
Who mourn,
who weep
For those who have departed.
May Your justice come near.
Prayers: 29th March 2026
A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
Prayers: Sunday, March 15th, 2026
Bidding: The Lord is [our] shepherd,
Response: [we] lack nothing.
[based on Psalm 23:1]

“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”
[from Ephesians 5:14]
Prayers: Sunday, 8 March 2026
Haere mai tātou, kia koropiko, kia tuohu:
kia tukua ngā turi ki te aroaro o Ihowa, o tō tātou Kaihanga.
Ko ia hoki tō tātou Atua;
ko tātou Tana iwi e hepara ai,
ngā hipi a Tōna ringa.
Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker;
for he is our God
and we are the people of His pasture,
the flock under His care.

…the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. He will be eating curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right… [Isaiah 7:14]
Prayers - Sunday 14 December
Because when Christ comes:
Then will the eyes of the blind be opened
and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
Then will the lame leap like a deer,
and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.
The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
