The Free Store Festival 2024 on Sunday was a joyous celebration of generosity, creativity, and local talent.

Our Diocesan whānau turned out in large numbers. Many marched with Common Grace Aotearoa and picnicked later under the shade of the Cathedral. There, a BBQ and refreshments were served by members of all three Tikanga of our church.

The Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand, and Polynesia strongly opposes the Treaty Principles Bill, describing it as a disingenuous effort that undermines the true spirit of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The Treaty Principles Bill calls us to embody our Christian values in action. Archbishop Don and Archbishop Justin will join thousands at Te Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti in Wellington to protest the bill and reaffirm our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
