Youth Worker (Intermediates – Years 7–8), St Tom’s Newtown

Are you passionate about developing intermediate-aged ministry, with a focus on leadership and team development?

We are hiring for this position, based in Newtown, for 10 hours per week.

The Youth Worker (Intermediates) helps grow a thriving, sustainable ministry for young people in Years 7–8 by identifying, developing, and supporting leaders from across the church family. The role prioritises building strong relationships with intermediates, their whānau, volunteers, and the wider church, while creating clear pathways into youth ministry and broader church life. This ministry is grounded in the life and teaching of Jesus, helping young people encounter Him and grow as His disciples.
