I grew up in New Zealand within a loving family whose roots, resilience, and work ethic deeply shaped who I am. From an early age I valued responsibility, independence, and doing things well — qualities that later led me to study engineering. Yet even as I pursued that path, I sensed God calling me to something deeper: a life oriented wholly around Him, not simply achievement or stability.

As I grew in faith, I encountered the God who heals, speaks, and loves beyond measure. Alongside my wife Victoria, I’ve discovered the joy of intentional community under Caleb and Billy. I learnt how to live well with others and let down my guard, to be known and loved. This has reshaped my understanding of leadership, that it begins with vulnerability, humility, and love.

My ministry now centres on leading others into the abundant life Jesus has offered me. I come alive when preaching, discipling, and equipping others, particularly through Alpha and the small community church I co lead with Victoria. I long to help people see that faith is not an add-on but the heartbeat of everyday life, that all we do can be worship.

God has continually redeemed my story, using my engineering to train my mind, high school teaching to shape my communication, and intentional community life to form my soul. I sense His call to be ordained ministry as an invitation to shepherd others into wholeness, to build authentic communities of grace, and to courageously pursue His mission here in Whanganui.

I sense that ordination is God’s invitation to join Him in His work of restoration, helping people discover the abundant life found in Jesus and live courageously as His disciples in every ordinary moment.
