Bishop Justin Duckworth is pleased to announce Revd. Katie Lawrence is the 9th Dean of the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul.

Our annual celebration of Ordination(s) is nearly upon us. Starting on the 19th of November and finishing on Friday 8th of December, Bishop Justin will ordain our Priests and Transitional Deacons.

Ven Pete Watson provides a few reflections on St Matthews Masterton having hosted Synod as a swan song before moving to Auckland.

Inspired by the beautiful set up of St Matthew’s Masterton, Bishop Justin encouraged Synod that while we are presented with great challenges, we can still attend the wedding feast.

With the karanga call of mana whenua and Wairarapa sun warmly shining, delegates entered St Matthew’s Masterton for the 61st Synod of the Diocese of Wellington.

The sun came out on Sunday afternoon as we celebrated the ordination of Amy Ross as Vocational Deacon.

Everyone is invited to attend one of three discipleship workshops with Caesar and Tina Kalinowski in Wellington, Christchurch and Whanganui in early November.

The Wellington City Mission will soon be operating support services from the newly built Rolleston housing complex in the Mount Cook suburb of Wellington.

The young people of St Alban’s Pauatahanui recently led a service on the topic of fast fashion and what we can do to make a difference.
