Did you know we can insure your mission unit’s vehicles through AIB? We have access to Comprehensive Cover at great rates. Some of the policy features are:
The excess does not apply to windscreens, glass, fire, theft or conversion.
Covers insurance of rental vehicles while on hire and while on insured business. Do not take the insurance offered by the rental car company.
Employees property not otherwise insured is covered in the vehicle.
Includes all vehicle accessories.
Employees vehicles while being used on Insured’s business (not otherwise insured).
Cars purchased during the year are automatically covered up to $100,000.
Excesses are:
Over 25 years old: $500 or 1% of value, whichever is greater.
Between 21 and 25 years old: $1,000.
Under 21 years old or licensed for less than 12 months: $1,500.
The policy renews on 1 April every year so if you’d like to move your vehicles on to the diocese’s policy, let us know by the 28 February. Please include: amount of cover required, rego, make, model, year, and the name of the person who has primary responsibility for the vehicle. If you also have a copy of the Certificate of Registration from NZTA, please include that in your email.

Insurance Renewal
Our policy renews on 1 April every year. Prior to insurance renewal we ask you to check the cover and notify us of any changes.
