The annual Scripture Union Children’s Ministry Training Conference WAY2GO is coming up! Rather than one large conference, they have decided to head to the regions and run smaller, more relational training this year.

The theme is “First things First” and will focus on the key aspects of children’s ministry. We will explore the importance of prioritising a deep faith grounded in the Bible and prayer, and look at how the church can encourage lifelong faith in children and families. 

Together we will learn how our children's ministry can be:

• Connected to God: focusing on our relationship with God.

• Connected to God’s Story: experiencing the love of God, and wanting to become more like Him.

• Connected to family/whānau: supporting home as the primary place for faith formation.

• Connected to others: intentionally creating relationships that are deep and lasting.

The hope is that this day will develop connections between local Children’s Ministry people that will continue afterwards in a formalised manner.
