Vicar - St Luke's Greytown

  • St Luke's Greytown 135 Main Street Greytown, Wellington, 5712 New Zealand (map)

The Parish of St Luke’s Greytown is looking for a new Vicar.

Our Parish is an integral part of our village community whose mission is to connect people to one another and to Jesus. The Parish has been established since 1869 nestled in the beautiful South Wairarapa region of the North Island.

We’re a mixed group from a range of spiritual backgrounds including Anglican, Catholic, Baptist, Pentecostal, Brethren and unchurched.

There is a particular focus on children and families, small groups, community engagement, worship and hospitality.

We are looking for someone who has a strong personal faith, is an encourager of others, someone who is skilled at communicating the good news of Jesus inside and outside church, who will develop lay ministry and has a passion for reaching our community in innovative ways.

We have a vision of being a visible, vibrant community following the way of Jesus in our neighbourhood.

The right person will have a great opportunity to utilise the recent development projects of a modern refurnished church, new Vicarage, new hall and new children’s playground.

If you sense that God is calling you
