The parish of St Aidan’s and St George’s are seeking a full-time Vicar.

Our community is geographically defined by the Miramar Peninsula in Wellington. We are principally located in Miramar, with a presence in Seatoun as well.

We are blessed with a congregation of all ages, with opportunities for growth in numbers of teenagers and young adults. Our congregation has strong intergenerational relationships which we value and foster with inclusive services and regular social activities.

Our missional focus has been on growing our core of committed disciples. We are active in this area and we have some exciting projects that are nearing completion – more in our Parish Profile!

We are looking for someone who can support and lead us as we continue God’s work. We are seeking a Vicar who can strengthen and create relationships, affirming us where we are strong and challenging us when needed.

This is a full-time position with a modern four-bedroom vicarage located directly behind St Aidan’s church.
