Our Anglican Parish is made up of 8 churches and a regular Sunday attendance of over 300 across the sites. We have an energized team of staff and volunteers who have seen significant increase in activity and growth in the last 6 years. This includes two new church plants and other congregations which have more than doubled in size. Position Summary
The Parish Manager is a significant leadership role who is responsible for overseeing operations and administration of all the churches that make up Whanganui Anglicans. This includes administration, finance, human resources, health & safety and property & assets. This role sits within our senior leadership, working alongside the Co-Vicars, the Wardens and the Vestry. The Parish Manager is responsible for implementing & managing systems and sourcing resources for the vision of the Parish. Operationally, the Parish Manager is responsible for informing the wider team of progress and any requirements as well as participating in regular meeting rhythms (see appendix A in role description). The Parish Manager is a significant Christlike culture holder for the Parish operations team, the leadership team and within the wider Parish.
