Following the gathering and sorting of household items for former refugee families, our house set up teams take the items to the families’ new houses and set it all up on a Thursday night - ready for the families to arrive to a warm and welcoming new home on Friday morning.

Setting up a home for a new Kiwi family is a rewarding experience. If you would like to join the team, please contact our Refugee Resettlement Coordinator Patricia Cooper, on patricia@anglicanmovement.nz. Some training is required and volunteers will be required to sign confidentiality agreements in order to protect the privacy of the former refugee families.
