We are looking for an Events Manager to join our Anglican Movement – Mission & Ministry team. This role is permanent-part time.
The hours of this role equate to 16 hours per week over a calendar year. However, the nature of this role requires some periods of 40 hours per week due to high event demand, and other seasons where there is low demand and ability to take time in lieu. It is a role that would suit a person who enjoys flexible working rhythms to achieve outcomes.
This role would suit candidates with the following skills & attributes:
Proven experience within the events management
Excellent interpersonal skills that allows for working with a wide range of stakeholders
An ability to help bring ideas to life and push them through to completion
An ability to thrive in a multifaceted and busy work environment, utilising excellent self-management, proactivity and work prioritisation of concurrent events to meet deadlines
An aptitude for detail and improving systems
A strong personal alignment with the Mission, Vision and Values of the Wellington Diocese.
