To foster our care for climate, we encourage you to consider using public transport, carpooling or other low-emission modes of transport such as cycling or walking.
If you are planning on travelling by car, please park on nearby streets.
Most of the Cathedral car park will be used for post-service catering. Please use street parking, or look at the Wilson Parking website for parking lots and buildings.
If you require a mobility park, a small number of these will be available. Please contact George O’Donnell at Wellington Cathedral to arrange this.
If you are planning to bring a busload, great! We will do our best to reserve some parking in Molesworth St for buses. Again, please contact George O’Donnell at the Cathedral to arrange this.

Ordination services are by nature long events. To help our tamariki enjoy the service we encourage bringing snacks and water bottles.
There will be children’s activity packs available during the service and a child-friendly viewing area with activities down the front of the nave. Families will be directed to this area on the day.
For those who need to dip out, there will be a creche space (please stay with your children) in the Brian Davis Room with access to the gated garden area.
-
A celebratory meal is planned for after the service. These will involve a variety of different world cuisines and will be available in the carpark outside the Loaves and Fishes hall.
Please note particular dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed.
