Call for Nominations for the role of Assistant Bishop in the Anglican Diocese Wellington
Anglican Movement (Diocese of Wellington) is excited to call for nominations for the role of Assistant Bishop.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to support the Diocesan Bishop in faithfully leading the Diocese of Wellington.
The Assistant Bishop will be a catalytic leader with a proven record of disciple-making and multiplication. They will bring an episcopal presence of healing and reconciliation; hold strong alignment to our Movement’s Vision and Values and be active in multiple ‘branch’ areas as outlined in our Vision document.
We ask for your prayers as this process unfolds: for the Holy Spirit to stir the hearts of those called to place their names forward for discernment and for the Electoral College itself on Saturday 10 February 2024.
To find out more about the nomination process, and to receive the Diocesan Profile and Role Description, please contact Rev Paul Carey, Deacon for Administration, at paul@anglicanmovement.nz or on +64 (0)4 472 1057.
Written applications should be received to the Bishop’s Office (on the above email) by 5pm, Thursday 30 November.
We look forward to hearing from you.
