A Day with Sam Wells

Wednesday 13 August - Wellington (All Saints Hataitai)

Sam Wells is the vicar of St Martin-in-the-Fields, London, UK, and is an influential public theologian.

He writes, speaks, preaches, and broadcasts on pastoral, political, and theological issues.

Don't miss the chance to learn from him - he'll be working with us in Wellington on Wednesday, 13 August and Palmerston North on Wednesday, 14 August.

1 - 3 PM - Before the Foundation of the World

An exploration of the significance of the conviction that Christ would have come even had there not been a fall.

Afternoon tea provided.

3:30 - 5:30 PM - God’s Abundance and our Scarcity

An analysis of the fundamental conviction that God gives us everything we need and an introduction to the HeartEdge movement.

Check out some of the local eateries with your mates if you plan on staying on for the evening.

7 - 9 PM - God’s Means and God’s Ends are Identical

An introduction to the theology and practice of the Being With course and a discussion of a different approach to sharing faith.

 Koha contribution is suggested.
