Bishops Justin and Eleanor are deeply saddened to share the news that Reverend Robyn Appleby passed away peacefully on Friday 29 October following a very recent cancer diagnosis only a few weeks earlier. Robyn was ordained deacon then priest in 2020, serving in All Saints, Palmerston North parish. Robyn also served as an NZCMS Mission Partner at Msalato Theological College in Dodoma, Tanzania.

We ask you to uphold her family and church community in your prayers at this time.

A memorial service will be held in due course.

Bishops Justin and Eleanor ask us to join in prayer for the friends and family of Rev Margaret Carr, who passed away recently. Rev Margaret was in the Order of the Community of the Sacred Name before becoming ordained in 1988 and then working as a hospital chaplain. It is with deep sadness that the Bishops announce the death of the Reverend Richard Simpson, Canon Emeritus, who passed to glory aged 91 in the first week of the lockdown.
