All are welcome to attend this workshop, however, those with governance roles such as vestry members, wardens, Synod reps and clergy or parish leaders are likely to find it most valuable.

The workshop will cover the following information:

-          Revd. Julie Rokotakala – what is Synod? Why do we do Synod? How does Synod work?

-          Revd. Stuart Goodin and John Freebairn – The roles in Synod and the responsibilities of voters, how to prepare well for and engage well in Synod.

-          Diocesan Manager, Ben Pringle – Synod this year in Masterton

-          Recommended documentation to help Synod reps and clergy engage well in Synod (not discussed in detail).

-          Question and Answer session facilitated by Elsie Joostens (Governance Coordinator)

Here’s the link again:

All registrants will receive a link to the recorded version of the workshop. So, it’s still worth registering if you can’t make it next Tuesday.
