Ignatian Retreat at Tyburn Monastery, Ngakuru (near Rotorua)
Sunday, 2 November – Saturday, 8 November 2025
Take five full days to pause, reflect, and pray with Scripture in the beautiful, peaceful setting of Tyburn Monastery. This retreat offers a precious opportunity to step away from the busyness of life and immerse yourself in silent contemplation, beginning with a group session on Sunday evening.
Throughout the week, you’ll receive daily individual spiritual direction and participate in a daily Anglican Eucharist. Our retreat directors, Rev. Kathy Orr-Nimmo, trained in Ignatian spiritual direction at Loyola House in Canada, and Rev. Jenny Dawson, formed through the SEED programme and Te Wairua Mahi, will be guiding us through this time of deep reflection.
Tyburn Monastery provides comfortable individual rooms, all with ensuites, and there is a disability access room available. You can find more details about the facilities here.
Cost: $460
To book your place or find out more, please contact Kathy at orrnimmo@hotmail.com or call 022 252 9929.
