The insurance team usually works Monday to Thursday.
If you have an urgent insurance query please contact the following:
Property and Business Interruption Insurance: contact Gallagher on 0800 276 6243 and follow up with an email to sarah.proffitt@ajg.co.nz and insurance@anglicanmovement.nz.
Motor Vehicle Insurance: contact 0800 2CRASH (0800 227 274).
Property or Business Interruption Claim
Document and photograph evidence of the damage.
If another party is responsible for the damage, ask for details of their insurance company.
Take all reasonable precautions to ensure no further damage is done.
Obtain quotes for repair or replacement for manageable claims.
Complete the claim form online (in the Member field, choose Wellington).
Forward the claim submission form to sarah.proffitt@ajg.co.nz and insurance@anglicanmovement.nz
Wait for the claims managers response before proceeding, an assessor may be required.
Excesses:
Non-tenanted residential (i.e. vicarages) - $1,000
Tenanted residential - $3,000
Water damage (other than residential) - $5,000
Everything else - $3,000
Vehicle Claim
Contact Crash Management, 0800 2CRASH (0800 227 274) who will provide you with a claim form. They will need the following information:
Our policy number: POOO512495MOT.
Your name, address and contact phone numbers
The name on the insurance policy that covers the vehicle: Anglican Church of New Zealand
Renewal is on 1 April each year
Vehicle type, registration number and year
Name of Insurance Company (QBE)
Name of Insurance Broker (Marsh)
A description of the damage
Location of the vehicle
Preferred time and place for pickup/ delivery of courtesy car, if required
Crash Management will manage all arrangements including providing you with a claim form. If you do have any problems, please ask for the name of the person you have been talking to at Crash Management and email insurance@anglicanmovement.nz.

Liability Claim
Notification of any circumstance, claim or potential claim should be made initially to either Ben Pringle (027 345 5477) or Hazel Nugent (027 264 0335), who will engage directly with the Anglican Insurance Board on your behalf.
Please do this at the earliest possible instance, to ensure that the insurer is made aware and can respond accordingly with its own directions/guidance.
