Little Revolutions - Sparking a flame for church renewal in Aotearoa

Over 150 people gathered this week to learn about church renewal and be invigorated again to Jesus’ call to reach our local contexts.

The conference drew church leaders and planters from across the Aotearoa church. Anglican, Baptist, Salvation Army, Presbyterian, Vineyard and independent churches all coming under one roof with one vision to renew the local church and the neighbourhood contexts we are placed in.

Scottie Reeve – Founder of the Catch Network who organized the conference said, “There was a great sense of collegiality in the room. Everyone was so generous in sharing their experience and having a common purpose. It was impressive.

“Across Aotearoa we face similar challenges and questions about how to be the church in this moment. It’s my hope that the conversations we’ve had might spark further cooperation and ultimately, the growth of the church across Aotearoa.”

Keynote speakers included Bishop Justin Duckworth, Hana Seddon (Salvation Army), Bree Mills (Australian Micro Church Network) and Jeremy Stevens (Underground Network – Florida).

Videos from the conference will be placed on the Catch Network website.
