Calling innovators to reimagine the future of the Church
Little Revolutions returns to Wellington and Christchurch in June 2026
Aotearoa’s grassroots movement-makers, church-planters and urban missionaries are being invited into a hope-filled conversation this winter as Little Revolutions returns for its third annual conference.
Happening 22–23 June in Wellington and 26–27 June in Christchurch, Little Revolutions will gather kingdom-practitioners and Gospel innovators from across Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond to dream, discern and imagine the future of the Church.
Organised by Catch Network, led by Scottie Reeve, Little Revolutions has quickly become a mixing pot for those curious about change, those already experimenting on the edges of church life, and leaders helping make new expressions of faith possible.
“Little Revolutions is for people who sense that the Spirit is stirring something new,” says Scottie. “It’s a place to listen, learn, and imagine together what faithfulness looks like in our neighbourhoods today.”
This year’s conference brings two internationally recognised keynote speakers whose work is deeply rooted in lived, neighbourhood-based mission.
Dave Mann, visiting from Bonny Downs, London, will share from more than three decades of grassroots ministry among urban poor and Muslim-majority communities. Alongside his wife Sally, Mann has pioneered new faith communities and helped establish the Bonny Downs Community Association, a powerful vehicle for neighbourhood renewal.
Drawing on the conviction that Jesus “became flesh and moved into the neighbourhood,” Dave will explore a vision of revival that moves beyond Sunday gatherings and spills into transformed lives and streets — bringing good news to the poor, freedom to the captive and hope to the overlooked.
Also joining the conference is Alan Hirsch from Melbourne, Australia, a globally respected missional thinker and author. Known for his work on apostolic leadership, discipleship and church renewal, Alan will challenge participants to reimagine how movements form, grow and endure in a rapidly changing cultural landscape.
Little Revolutions is intentionally hosted in venues that embody renewal and resilience.
In Wellington, the conference will be held at Meow Nui, once the Salvation Army Citadel and now a live music venue. For two days, the historic space will once again be filled with worship, story and imagination — a visible sign that God continues to renew what many assume is finished.
In Christchurch, participants will gather at Oxford Terrace Baptist, a site rebuilt after the earthquakes as a shared hub for Christian non-profits and community housing. It stands as a living picture of an outward-facing church embedded in its neighbourhood.
Rather than a traditional conference focused solely on content delivery, Little Revolutions is intentionally collaborative. Alongside keynotes, participants will engage in conversations, storytelling and design moments that centre real-world practice and shared learning.
The conference is particularly aimed at:
Church-planters and pioneer leaders
Urban and neighbourhood-based missionaries
Clergy and ministry leaders exploring fresh expressions of church
Movement leaders and practitioners longing for Spirit-led change
As the Western Church continues to navigate cultural shifts, declining trust in institutions and deep community need, Little Revolutions offers a hopeful, grounded space to ask: What does faithfulness look like now — and what small, brave steps might lead to lasting transformation?
Little Revolutions takes place
Wellington: Monday 22 – Tuesday 23 June 2026, Meow Nui
