Audits

The accounts for all of our mission units are consolidated into one (ADW Diocese Group) and audited by an external auditor and filed with Charities Services, by 30 June each year. We audit the GDF (General Diocesan Fund) and ADW (Anglican Diocese of Wellington) Group.

ICCP - Internal Control & Checking Process

This focuses on a review of income and expenses and overall compliance with Diocese wide standards. It is more an internal audit approach to support work of the external auditors.

Areas covered include:

• Income and expenses coded correctly

• Supporting documents are attached to transactions (audit trail)

• Vestry, AGM and SGM minutes stored (governance minutes)

• GST compliance
