Let us join in prayer for the friends and family of The Reverend Mike Russell who has passed away this week. Mike served in the Parish of Pohangina for a total of thirty-seven years, as Vicar and latterly as a PTO, and was still very active in the life of the Church until a week before his passing.He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Claire and her partner Aaron, and grandson Ben.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday 23rd May, 1pm, at St Mary Magdalene Church, 67 Cambridge Ave, Ashhurst.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
