Faith, Justice, and the Ballot Box: Why Local Elections Matter

You’re Invited – A Conversation with Sir David Moxon

Join us at St Matthew's Anglican Church, Masterton, for a thought-provoking and timely address by Sir David Moxon on Saturday, August 16.

As we approach local elections, how are we called—as followers of Christ—to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God? Sir David will speak to the role of Christians in civic life, with a special focus on the Treaty of Waitangi, the significance of Māori wards, and the call to uphold God’s justice here in Aotearoa.

This is a powerful opportunity for people of faith to reflect on how voting can be an act of social justice and Gospel witness—right in our own communities.

Saturday, 16 August
