Anglican Missions is calling on churches and individuals across Aotearoa to support the Hope for the Holy Land Appeal, providing crucial aid to communities in Israel and Palestine through the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East.

St Aidan's Anglican Community Church in Tokomaru hosted a joyful Christmas Tree Service drawing over 90 children and staff from Tokomaru School for a festive celebration.

Advent season kicked off with a community celebration at St Barnabas Church in Khandallah, featuring a life-size Gingerbread House photo booth and festive activities.

"What is it to rest from work and to work from rest?", that was a question put to a group of church administrators at an overnight retreat held at Forest Lakes Camp on 8-9 November.

How wonderful it was to join with our Movement whānau in a full Cathedral for the ordination of our Deacons.

The Free Store Festival 2024 on Sunday was a joyous celebration of generosity, creativity, and local talent.

Our Diocesan whānau turned out in large numbers. Many marched with Common Grace Aotearoa and picnicked later under the shade of the Cathedral. There, a BBQ and refreshments were served by members of all three Tikanga of our church.

The Anglican Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand, and Polynesia strongly opposes the Treaty Principles Bill, describing it as a disingenuous effort that undermines the true spirit of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The Treaty Principles Bill calls us to embody our Christian values in action. Archbishop Don and Archbishop Justin will join thousands at Te Hīkoi mō Te Tiriti in Wellington to protest the bill and reaffirm our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
