Sunshine, Laughter and Good News at Intermediate Camp
Intermediate Camp at Foxton Bible Camp focused on te rongopai, the good news, and there was certainly lots of it!
For one, while the rest of the country was battered by rain, Foxton Bible Camp was full of sunshine and the sounds of joyful rangatahi.
On Friday night we heard from Anika Green about the good news for our world and reflected on the hope that Christian faith can provide in challenging times.
On Saturday, Jen Lun shared about the good news in her own life and on Sunday Micah Young rounded things out by sharing the good news for Aotearoa.
Everyone also got the opportunity to participate in a rotation of engaging workshops on Saturday morning.
Not only did we get to hear about God's good news, but we got to see it lived out in the joy on everyone's faces.
Crazy wide games, hours of rugby, new friends from other youth groups, beautiful beading and endless pancakes were just some of the happy moments we got the privilege of sharing together.
A massive mihi to all the parents, leaders, organisers, musicians, cooks and more who put in 110 percent and made Intermediate Camp memorable for all of the right reasons.
Our rangatahi came away beaming and saying they “just want to be back at camp!”
