RIP Rev John Terris
Bishops Justin and Anashuya ask us to join in prayer for the friends and family of Reverend John Terris who passed away this week.
John was ordained deacon in 1969 and priested the following year. His ministry spanned several parishes in our Diocese, including Lower Hutt, St Mark's Wellington, Levin, Whanganui, Petone and South Wairarapa.
John also had an extensive career in politics, both national and local. See the links below for further details.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 11th February at 2pm at St James Anglican Church Lower Hutt.
Clergy who wish to can robe with white stoles. Please arrive in time to be waiting in the foyer ready to process at 1.50pm.
