Bishop Justin has accepted the resignation of Sarah McMenamin as Priest in Charge of the Parish of the Oroua with effect from Sunday 28 February 2023.

Sarah says, “It is with sadness that I have resigned as the Priest in Charge in the Parish of the Oroua. It has been an absolute joy to love and lead the parish since the beginning of 2020, and to work under Wendy for the two years before that.” Sarah has been very sick with Long Covid for the last ten months and has yet to see any recovery or improvement in her symptoms. “I believe that this decision is in the best interests of my health and the best interests of the parish, given the uncertainty of when I will be well enough to work again.
