The Rev. Terry Alve is to retire from his role of Priest in Charge at Porirua Anglicans.

Sunday 19 January 2025 will be Terry’s last service.

Bishop Justin writes:

Dear Friends in Christ,
I am so grateful for Terry’s dedication and leadership during his time here. He has been such a blessing to this parish, and I trust and pray that God will pour his blessing on Terry as he prepares for his next season and also on the parish in this time of transition.
As we begin the process of finding a new leader for the parish, I want to assure you that the Diocesan nominators are looking forward to working closely with your parish nominators. Together, we will seek God's guidance to discern the right person to shepherd this community into its next season of growth and ministry.  I trust that God will provide the right leadership for this parish, just as he has always been faithful in the past.
