Bishop Justin asks us to join in prayer for the friends and family of Rev Canon Pam Mildenhall who died on 4 August.

In 1978 Pam and Sidney Koreneff were the first women ordained in Wellington Diocese. They paved the way for the many women who have taken their place as ordained ministers today. Pam served in St Matthew’s Masterton, and as Vicar at Manaia and Greytown parishes. Pam was a Canon and Canon Emeritus of the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul.

Her funeral will be held at St Mark’s, Carterton at 11.00am on Monday 8 August. Clergy may robe with white stole.

May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
