Kia tae mai tou rangatiratanga

Across the Diocese, our movement joined in prayer for Thy Kingdom Come.

We were creative and steadfast. Holding on to rhythms of earnest prayer in the early hours and late nights.

We prayed alone, we prayed in groups.

We prayed for our five, that that they would come to know the Saviour.

And we prayed,

Kia tae mai tou rangatiratanga

Kia meatia e pai ai ki runga ki te whenua

Kia rite ano ki to te rangi.

Thy Kingdom Come

Thy will be done

On earth, as in heaven

We are hearing how parishes are hearing the call of the Spirit to push further into prayer.

Some are starting prayer courses, some are holding prayer nights, some are continuing to pray for people to know Christ.

Bless you as you continue to seek the Lord in prayer.
